Ghibli Marathon ...

I really want to do this one day.

Let's watch all the Ghibli movies yeaa!! Or we could just have an animation film marathon.. festival thing.. with food and drinks.
Once I figure out how we can hook up a computer to the TV screen... (illegal quite legal online streaming movie videos.. ;D). Yeaa!!! I love japanese animation.

We shoulddddd. HOMG. But you don't have to do all of the videos illegally. ;D I have Spirited Away on DVD and Princess Mononoke on VHS. I also have Totoro, Grave of the Fireflies, and Nausicaa (sp?) on VHS but those are in Japanese with Chinese subs... >>;;; BUT WE'RE WATCHING FOR THE ANIMATION, NO? NOT THE STORY LINE? XDDDD

And I hope we will watch that movie "Cliff by the Sea" because I had no idea what a "Ponyo" was until around a week ago, and the movie looks interesting. I was like "Whats a Ponyo o_O" and people were like "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A PONYO IS ALWEFJAOEWIJFAIOEFHAJ!!! D: "

and I've only been able to watch totoro/grave of the fireflies in a language I half understand. We really need to hold a marathon but it'd be better if it was somewhere with a huge screen!
(although that is very unrealistic)

I watched the first hour of Ponyo in Japanese and omgahhh the high-pitched 'PONYO! POOONNYYOOOOOO! PONYO WANTS LEGS*!' ..../shudder

We mayyy be able to use a projector... but like, lunch is a very short period of time... D:

I'm not sure if it's part of Ghibli, but 'Girl Who Stopped Time' is AMAAAAZZZIIINNNGGG! And we'll all sob at the end together... - u-;; Can I suggest Advent Children, too? Heehee...

Yes, projector is good idea. But we'd have to borrow it from Allen or ...unless someone has a projector... and hold it at someone's house. (depending on how many ppl are interested... )
Then we can just hang a white sheet somewhere or a white wall. Homgg, and if it's raining... and we have like hot cocoa.. or tea... and sad parts of the movies. ; 3 ;

I believe Cat has a big TV, keke. We should all just crash at JMa's apaatou, haha, but the other very loud European neighbors with their crying babies would be very much irritated...

There's that one projector that teachers have that hook up to the computer; we could try to get that for the animation shorts. I'd be disappointed for not being able to finish a movie at lunch. D: But some sort of entertainment is good, heh.

But anyway, the hot cocoa and stuff... heh... Maybe we could rent the room at the library? OOOO:

Err, I doubt the juniors and some seniors have the time to just watch movies on weekdays/ends until like.... January for seniors and May for the juniors. Dawwww, I miss junior year, but I wouldn't want to return to it. - u- <3 But a day in winter break might be okay. Or like the day before winter break starts? o:

i have pretty much all the ghibi movies (no howl's moving castle or ponyo though :C and prolly more...) in english :D but actually i'd rather watch it in japanese with english subs. oh well at least you can understand it lol

my favorites are castle in the sky, princess mononoke, spirited away, and totoro. man i love totoro. its so cute x3
