Since you guys wanted to do shoe painting first, I suggest you decide on a brand of shoe to buy (either at Payless) or maybe an old pair of shoes that is wearable... if you're experienced with this, then you might consider buying a nicer pair to work on. ;D
What type of materials can you paint on? Canvas shoes work best. You can try pleather or leather (pricey!) .. but might be risky.

Start designing! Think about colors (maybe stick with simple colors... or go all out) and the design. Make it wearable, stylish, and unique (because that's the whole point). Use the internet to find inspiration!

Have your shoes and design ready by March 3 as a checkpoint (ideally). This is all based on YOUR efforts to make it happen. We will find a place and time to paint them.

Meanwhile, I also recommend brushing (haha pun INTENDED) up on your painting skills and color theory. Nothing too complicated ..but know how to mix paint using the 3 primary colors and black and white. Officers who are experienced with this can help, so don't feel too pressured if you don't know how. A quick google search or maybe one of xynrui's useful resources will help.
AAND if you're bored, watch some shoe painting videos on youtube or something. It will have tutorials or designs to get inspired by..

Vote in the poll~

In the future we will probably even design our own belts, so keep a lookout for that.

And post when you think you are available. Or other suggestions (places/times..)...Should we have multiple sessions? How long for each session?
Anyone taking SAT or something? Or any questions.. etc... Thanks peeps.
