Purpose:
To show off your finished artwork for all to see and praise!
Critique is not necessary, and should only be given if requested.

Note: Most of this stuff is copypasta from the Art/Critque forum's Rules and Guidelines.

Rules to displaying artwork:
1. Don't stretch pages.
2. Artwork with nudity should be linked; warn viewers beforehand as well. (for those of you with unscarred eyes. haha)
3. No overly suggestive artwork, p0rn, etc. Leave that for your closet. Only artistic nudity is allowed (see above). Admin and Mods will strictly enforce this rule.
4. Have common sense, and have fun kiddies.

Note: Links to Deviantart (and other websites that require a long loading time) might be a little annoying. But it is not /necessary/ to use another image hosting place or anything. Just wanted to mention this.

DO:
-Host your images properly!
-Perhaps give a little artist's comment about the artwork such as the medium, size, time spent, etc. and even a story (if it applies) :0

Do NOT:
-Break the rules! (obvious..)
-Think you are the most amazing artist in the world (even though this place is for mainly comments)
-Title your topic very misleadingly ("HOT ANIME GURL HERREE" when it's a painting of your dog)

How to Upload an image with Good Quality:
There are several ways to do this depending at what kind of art you create.

Traditional:
- Get a scanner, or digital camera (with sufficient lighting) and get the image onto your computer. I suggest you scan at 150-300dpi (higher means bigger file, but shows more details).
- Have you got an image editting program like Photoshop (you can get free basic programs on the Internet)? You can change the contrast on the image, or try to change the color settings to match what you actually have. Scanners usually kill your colors/lines. And as for digital cameras, lighting and angling will affect your image.
-Follow the steps below for Digital.

Digital:
-Apparently this forum has this wonderful, simple, and easy way to host an image. There's a little icon next to all the B,I,U, etc. etc. Click the floppy disk thing, and you should be able to host your image without all the hassle. But this has yet to be tested out. xD;

Alternatively(should work for sure):
- Find an image hosting website (such as photobucket, tinyurl, etc.) and upload your images up there. Then, you can copy&paste the URL in between the sets of brackets" [img][/img] " without the spaces so that the image will show up on the page, not a link. To avoid stretching the page with your possibly humongous art file, you can resize it (Photobucket has this capability) or just provide a link for other people to look at.
(And as for Photobucket, you can copy the URL with the [img][/img] included. Saves you some time. ;D)

*Tip: The preview capability before you officially post anything is your friend. You can see any errors in your post, and easily amend them. This will make you look good, and save us admin/mods a lot of time. <3

Thanks for reading!

P.S.: If you still have any lingering questions, you may post it in this thread. But I am sure most of your answers can be found with the power of the Internet. ;D
